2008, yah, not so great! Why? too many reasons to tell. However, there were many good things too. My dear friends had a little girl at the start of the year and named her Charlie - due or not, I take pride. As well, I did receive, FINALLY, my doctor of modern language degree. I quit smoking. Relatives from France came to visit in Michigan and I was able to spend 6 weeks with my family there. After 7 years, I made it back to Madrid - Lisa & German's wedding in OCT.
Yes, there were a lot of blessings. So, while I am not one to usually one to make resolutions, because I lose track too easily, I've been inspired, by Mark & Ang, yet again, to aspire. I'm going to aspire to focus more on the positives, reclaim my poetry, and be happier.
Who knows if sharing this here will help or not, but it's a place to start.
Lastly, I'd like to dedicate these attempts to Mark Z. & Pat C., two classmates who lost the positivity last year and, consequently, lost their lives. We all need more positivity!
